ACI 11 Series Enclosed Safety Load Break Disconnect Switch, Non Fusible, Please Choose Amperage & NEMA Rating
The ACI Enclosed Safety Load Break Disconnect Switch is designed to remove power from a control panel, motor, air conditioner, pump, compressor, etc. The switch is UL 508 Listed for use in Branch Circuits. The switch is not suitable for Service Entrance conditions. Any fusing provided with the switch is to be considered supplemental protection under UL 508 and the National Electrical Code. Primary short circuit protection must be provided ahead of the switch.
The XA - XB non fused and XF fused switches use a modern compact design and state of the art technology to minimize panel space and maximize switch capability. The XF fused switch has a unique enclosed integral finger safe Class CC fuseholder that eliminates the need for a separate fuseblock and minimizes the risk of contacting live parts.
The Lockout style handle assembly is environmentally rated IP65 (Type 4X) and is lockable with up to 3 padlocks (not furnished) to meet the requirements of OSHA standard 1910.147. The switches are UL 508 Listed, CSA certified and conform to IEC 408; CEI 17-11; CEE 24; VDE 0660T107; and BS 5419 and CE.
